Born in Malaysia but went to Australia in his teens to enter university and made that place his home since. Ken held senior management positions with the Australian Government. Came to Samui in 92 where he started a very successful Italian restaurant. After having sold 3.000 kg of Spaghetti, he sold the restaurant as well & started a stint as GM at the Weekender Resort in Lamai. He is involved in community work and also chartered the local Rotary Club as their first president. Ken has become Honorary Consul for Australia for Surat Thani province in 2003. H.E. is the only official diplomat on the island. Since 2005 he is the MD of the Royal Samui Golf & Country Club, who will start to operate in late 2006.
