Joachim lives on Samui since 1992. Until 1996 he was General Manager at the No.1 Bungalow Resort at the Big Buddha Beach. Then he also started to organize sailing & fishing trips with his boat Ayoli at that time which became very popular until today. Since 1996 he is the MD of the Happy Place Resort. He also runs a real estate company together with an Austrian partner.
