The Dusit D2 Samui will be located on Choengmon Beach. It will have 60 individual pool villas and is scheduled to open in August 2009. The simplicity of the hotel’s design and inspired use of oriental touches will create a relaxing and enriching experience.

Facilities will encompass a restaurant, poolside bar, spa, fitness, library, meeting rooms, and a 90-metre-long swimming pool facing the sea. Raising a toast after the contract signing event were Duncan Jamieson, Vice President-Development, and Sinee Thienprassidhi, Executive Director, both of Dusit Hotels & Resorts, with Anupong Permsakul and Satirapong Surinvarangkul, Directors of Park Tini, most successful Koh Samui contractors.
