Bellini is run by Francesco Vitagliano from Napoli. He was a Chef in Italy & Germany before coming to Samui, where he created Bellini in 2004. The scenario is timeless-elegant. The restaurant is divided in two salons, one with a bar & dining tables in front of a decorative waterfall, the other for dining only, which is air-conditioned. A cozy terrasse invites for al fresco dining. Works of art are on the walls and the informal formality of the interior produces a cool ambiance. Bellini is superbly convincing in its attitude of providing the dernier cri of culinary wellness on Samui. The bar menu includes tapas to be consumed over a glass of wine or 2 whereas the menu presents a selection mainly from the Piemont & Tuscany regions. There is an extensive international wine list with an emphasis on Italian wines. The menu changes each 3 months and customers are ensured to always savor something exciting & special.
